Overview/General Purpose of Position

DLT is currently looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our expanding digital demand generation practice to best serve our diverse and growing client set.
The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for design, quality assurance (QA), execution, maintenance, and reporting for automated marketing programs related to DLT's demand generation strategy, as well as assisting in defining the strategy for, and ensuring the execution of, initiatives related to improving contact data quality, contact acquisition, marketing persona development, data unification, and data access.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Coordinate with Manager of Marketing Operations and other marketing team members to manage demand generation programs across multiple business divisions and clients
Assist in the design and execution of demand creation, nurture, and scoring programs and strategy
Create segments mapped to key domains, industries, and contact data
Manage company and client email campaigns to drive pipeline/revenue and make recommendations for improvements for improved performance and reach
Assist in implementation and testing of CRM / MAP integration processes
Create emails, landing pages, forms, and reports within the Marketing Automation Platform (MAP), including templates for use by others within the marketing team
Document MAP processes, programs, and procedures
Monitor and report on trends and engagement metrics related to tactics and programs managed by the MAP and related applications
Train marketing resources on how to run reports and accomplish basic tasks within the MAP

Daily Work Activities and Context
Data Management
Help define the strategic agenda for marketing data management
Create the measurement plan for data management, including database readiness metrics and metrics that capture the impact of database readiness on downstream marketing processes
Prioritize initiatives and maintain a roadmap for data management improvements
Help define the data acquisition strategy to ensure that desired levels of breadth and quality are achieved
Work with other functions (e.g. sales operations, IT) to develop a broader master data management strategy
Establish ongoing coordination with Web, sales operations and IT teams to ensure visibility into changes to data and architecture
Marketing Automation
Build and execute email and automated marketing campaigns
Build and develop HTML emails and landing pages
Build and enhance lead scoring programs to drive effective demand generation
Develop templated marketing programs for automation
Develop multi-step nurture marketing campaigns
Work and collaborate with others marketing teams and departments throughout DLT to create winning marketing strategies
Monitor and analyze performance for ROI, conversion rates
Code and edit HTML emails
Be a subject matter expert on marketing technology platforms, working closely with Marketing leadership
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, ideally in marketing, business, or computer science
Two to three years of MAP experience
Two to three years of experience in demand creation related activities (email, trade shows, building of landing pages, search engine optimization/search engine marketing, event marketing)
Proven experience driving data quality initiatives, joining data from disparate systems and finding new ways to provide data consumers easy access to the information they need
Ability to clearly communicate to teammates with a diverse level of digital knowledge
Experience working with business stakeholders in defining data requirements
Experience with Marketo, Eloqua, or similar MAPs
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work in a faced fast paced environment
Strong project management skills. Must be able to manage and prioritize your work to meet project milestones and deliverable dates
Strong interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal)
Digital marketing or segmentation marketing experience
Experience in reaching, and engaging public sector audiences
Current data cleansing, warehousing and unification strategies and tools
Marketing best practices and challenges for data consumers
