The Position

Our Pennsylvania-based bank client is seeking to fill a Remote Commercial Credit Analyst role. The successful candidate will be analyzing credit information of all types of loan requests including the larger and most complex loan requests.

The position offers a generous salary of up to $75K and a full benefits package. (This is a remote position.)

Commercial Credit Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Spreading, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and related material for larger and more complex existing and prospective borrowers.
  • Preparing credit approval documents for presentation to loan officers or committees.
  • Developing the credit approval document to assist in the lending decision on new, renewal, and extension loans.
  • Assisting in the assignment of risk ratings.
  • Investigating all available sources of credit and financial and information, including report services, credit bureaus, the Risk Management Association, industry trends, and other companies.
  • Preparing annual reviews on borrowing relationships in accordance with the Bank’s loan policy.
  • Calling on existing and potential borrowers with lenders to solicit new loan and deposit relationships or to monitor the borrower’s ongoing creditworthiness.
  • Serving as a senior-level Credit Administration resource.
  • Performing all other duties assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent in a directly related field, such as Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Six or more years of previous related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Formal credit training is preferred.
  • Sound working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and statistical skills.
  • Strict attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
