What you’ll achieve The IT Infrastructure Project Manager in Cloud Infrastructure Services is responsible for the delivery of a full project lifecycle and will determine the best approach and most effective methodology. The IT Project Manager will provide appropriate leadership, coordination, and facilitation to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget and to scope. You will: Be accountable for key project assignments will be infrastructure projects with cross functional teams. Projects may include but are not limited to: Server/storage expansion in US data centers or other global locations, supporting application migrations to cloud platforms, or deployment of new infrastructure capabilities. Manage projects, or specific activities related to projects within given constraints of scope, schedule, budget, and quality through the duration of the project. Allocate work among team members and provides guidance on a regular basis. You will conduct periodic reviews to ensure project is on track and conducts post-project reviews. Ensure all project documentation is current and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis and utilize relevant project management tools, systems, and applications. Defines supporting and/or driving process improvements. Essential Requirements Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience in project/program management including risk management, cost management, creating project work plans, managing project plans and deliverables from beginning to end. Experience or knowledge in Infrastructure, including network, telecom, server/storage, IT facilities, or IT SDLC projects Ability to lead 5-10-member project teams, define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders Experience applying PM methodology, enforcing project standards, identifying resources needed, delegating responsibilities, reviewing deliverables prepared by teams Ability to communicate project expectations, influence, collaborate and act as a liaison with project stakeholders on an on-going basis Ability to communicate with regional teams, provide direction, motivation and engage team members to drive actions to completion Desirable Requirements Project Management Certification such as PMP, CSM, PSM, CSPO, other Agile methodologies Here’s our story; now tell us yours Dell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
