Job Description
The Solutions Architects primary role is to transform business functional requirements into technical solutions on the Blue Yonder platform. The Solutions Architect will guide business and IT stakeholders in strategic planning to realize impactful business outcomes leveraging information technology and with an understanding of the companys strategic vision. The Solutions Architect is expected to perform analysis, design, development, and implementation of process and technology within the Blue Yonder suite of applications, while maintaining an understanding and high-level view of technology components to translate how business systems are impacted. Will need to communicate to senior leadership with large initiatives and projects and serve as a liaison between technical and business groups.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Lead project teams where applicable, fostering collaboration across all areas of IT and the business.
Provide technical expertise when evaluating and designing solutions, ensuring all components and subsystems impacted are properly addressed during business application build and deployment.
Oversee and provide technical analysis and design expertise during development of business applications.
Work with business users to ensure technical solution meets business requirements.
Create test cases and assist in technical and end-user testing. May be required to help deploy solution to businesses.
Provide technical leadership to the solution delivery process with solution architectures to drive key architecture decisions and ensure enterprise fit and sustainability.
Work directly with IT Service Center and businesses on support issues with high degree of responsiveness and resolution.
Act as a liaison to IT and the business, recommending improvements to both IT and business processes to reduce costs or enhance services where applicable.
Stay abreast of and assess technology trends; communicate relevant concepts and implications to the business and IT and leverage in guiding solution designs and moving IT strategies forward.
Develop, maintain, and enforce common conventions, standards, and technologies across the IT Team.
Lead the selection and design of application solutions needed to enable the business.
Other projects or duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.
6+ years experience in Solutions or Systems Architecture.
3+ years experience in application and Blue Yonder product architecture.
Experience in various Blue Yonder modules (Demand & Fulfillment (70% application), Supply chain planning (SCPO), S&OP, and Luminate Control Tower (LCT))
Experience in cloud computing (SaaS / PaaS / iPaaS).
Experience in DevOps and continuous integration and deployment process and tools.
Experience in data analysis, and strong understanding of integration best practices and patterns.
Experience in iterative and/or agile and/or scrum development.
Desired Skills
Experience in the beverage industry.
Experience in Mulesoft.
Experience in Snowflake.
Formal project management training and experience.
