Well established and a leading international company has an opportunity in the beautiful upstate of SC commutable to the west of Greenville for a 2nd or 3rd shift Manufacturing Engineer at their manufacturing and distribution facility of almost 700 people. The shift choice is optional. In this capacity will ensure the development and implementation of the manufacturing processes that are efficient, feasible, economical and profitable for the company. Will have responsibility for programming robots and drives. Will participate in product development activities. Will promote a safe workplace. Also, capital projects will be managed from inception through turnover for production. Will troubleshoot and repair equipment. The environment includes Fanuc and Stabli robots as well as Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs. The manufacturing processes include both assembly and machining.   • BSME or BSEE or other relevant Engineering degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management ability that is excellent
  • 3+ years of related manufacturing engineering experience
  • Strong mentoring, coaching and leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of automated machines and processes
  • Must have understanding of relevant software applications and computers which includes vision and measurement systems, SPC, PLC programming and general assembly equipment
  • Self-motivation is needed
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, PLC software and Creo
  • Proficiency in identifying the root cause in automation technologies by using sensing, measurement, handling, etc. and delivering solutions that are timely
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of design and drafting work
  • Working knowledge of troubleshooting and manufacturing machines
  • Must have a strong commitment to a team environment
  • Need to be open to working either the 2nd or 3rd shift
