Job Description

Day To Day:



fivestar* designs and develops custom software solutions that centralize workflows, optimize processes, and enable decision-making through real-time data and business intelligence.



fivestar* builds a variety of custom web applications for corporate clients as well as non-profits. Many custom solutions are built using Angular (latest), ASP.NET Core MVC, Entity Framework and Azure SQL.







Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment with designers, project managers, analysts, engineers and other stakeholders.

Actively participate in sprint planning, effort estimation, technical design and task breakout.

Use cutting-edge technology to develop and deploy high-quality software solutions at a rapid pace.

Review code and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback.

Continuously learn about modern software technologies, tools and best practices, and make recommendations on when to use them.

Assist in establishing development coding standards, patterns and methodologies.

Learn new skills through professional development, with company provided time and funds.

Minimum Requirements

Must-Haves



3-5 years of experience working as a Software Developer

Experience in ASP.NET MVC using C# and either .NET Framework 4+, .NET Standard or .NET Core

Angular 6+

SQL experience - SQL Server prefered.

Experience building web services with XML and JSON.

Desired Skills

Plusses:







Azure DevOps, TFS or similar tools such as GitHub and Jira.

Understanding of entity-relationship design principles.

Typescript Angular

Azure DevOps, TFS or similar tools such as GitHub and Jira.

Entity Framework, NHibernate or a similar ORM tool.
