Position Summary:

SomaLogic is looking for strong Inside Sales Representative with a track record of success to join our team!

The primary goal of an inside sales representative is to cold call, set appointments and generate email outreach for SomaLogic’s Life Sciences field sales representatives. The inside sales representative is responsible for all appointments being created, ensuring quality control.


Responsibilities:

•Promote SomaLogic products and services with customers, using effective selling skills, active listening, proper terminology, approved product messaging, and approved promotional materials
•Conduct support calls to ensure office is stocked with approved resources such as use case studies or educational materials
•Support regional field sales representatives with effective qualified lead identification and smooth transition of the qualified lead to the field sales representative
•Develop and update business plans to identify opportunities and achieve goals
•Plan and manage daily KPIs such as sales/support call activity to defined expectations
•Participate in team meetings and live trainings/meetings (when required)
•Achieve and exceed individual goals.
•Document all call information in SomaLogic’s Salesforce system


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience required. 
  • B2B virtual/inside sales experience, preferably in Healthcare/Pharmaceutical sales
  • Prefer MS Word and Excel expertise.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships
  • Results-oriented with a track record of success and an ability to drive sales in a matrix environment
  • Self-motivated, disciplined self-starter with an ability to work independently
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities and growing sales in assigned territory
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and work effectively on various assignments
  • Good organizational and planning skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills including; verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal and active listening skills
  • Clear, articulate, and grammatically sound speech
  • Excellent rapport building skills
  • Strong learning agility with an ability to learn, understand and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and to maintain the required technical expertise including competitive product knowledge
  • Proficient technical aptitude with computer technology and devices (e.g. Microsoft Office, Salesforce experience, iPad, apps, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a dynamic personality
  • Ability to be persuasive and influential. Prefer experience in a goal based or performance metric environment.

Work Environment:

  • Remote / home-based position located in the Western Region of the US (preferably in CA)
  • Occasional travel to SomaLogic HQ or to regional sales meetings may be required
