Responsibilities:
Design, support and manage corporate virtualization and server data center infrastructureManage data center infrastructure, including virtualization software and hardware as well as rack mount serversEnergetic and motivated, with a passion for technology and a willingness to mentor othersA forward-thinking problem solver with exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skillsBe able to take a technology you havent seen before and immerse yourself in itExcellent communication and documentation skills with facility to cultivate supportive relationships within the teamStrong organizational and time management skillsCapable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
7+ years of hands-on designing, supporting, and managing a VMWare private cloud environment with SAN storage. (VMware vCenter, vMotion, Patching, P2V, Disaster Recovery, and vRealize Operations)7+ years managing server hardware (HPE and Dell Blade/Rackmount servers)7+ years managing and maintaining system backups (EMC Avamar a plus)Server and infrastructure automation activities (Powershell, Python, Ansible, etc.)Strong Operating System skills (Windows Server, Linux OS)Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Group PolicyStrong networking skills (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, cabling)Experience with network and systems monitoring and logging tools (Paessler PRTG, Syslog, SNMP, Nagios, Opsview)Must be available to work after-hours on-call rotation scheduleMust be willing to commute into the office 2-3 times a month and to our Waltham, MA data center as neededAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Willingness to learn and support other technologies outside of virtualization and hardwareStrong, delivery focused work ethic that takes ownership and produces resultsMust be a resident and live in a US state.
