Description: Our client is currently seeking a Remote SharePoint Developer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Client is seeking a SharePoint Developer to join our SharePoint development team. The SharePoint Developer is expected to provide technical expertise in defining, designing, testing and deploying web solutions using SharePoint platforms. An ideal candidate for this position should possess qualities and skillset including but not limited to:
•Is a self-starter.
•Can work independently with minimum supervision.
•Can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•Can manage time effectively.
•Pays attention to details.
•Demonstrates experience in SharePoint's application services framework including custom development, configuration, usages of Search and Managed Metadata.
•Has in-depth knowledge of Knowledge Management best practices, taxonomies, site design and navigation.
Responsibilities:
•Interacts with the customers and product owners to understand their needs, performs requirements analysis, develops and delivers appropriate SharePoint solutions and ensures the solutions meet stakeholder expectations.
•Designs and develops new solutions and enhancements using HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, XML, XSLT, JSON and SharePoint API/RESTful services.
•Provides innovative solutions to effectively streamline customer's processes.
•Follows the industry and coding best practices and incorporates them into daily work and team processes.
•Develops, manages and maintains SharePoint content types and taxonomy to improve document management and search functionality.
Experience, Skills/Abilities, and Education:
•3+ years of professional experience in Frontend Web/SharePoint development is required.
•Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science or related field with 8 years of work experience or Master's degree in a related field with 5 years of work experience.
•Experience with SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online.
•Experience with n-tier web-application development.
•Experience with web services development.
•Experience with developing, troubleshooting, and deploying web applications utilizing Front-end UI libraries. ie. CSS with SASS, JQuery.
•Experience participating in Agile Scrum teams.
