SR2 are excited to be working with a brand new client who are providing leading eCommerce and technology solutions for some of the world's most loved entertainment brands, including Universal Music Group and Sony Music just to name drop a few.
Since they were founded in 2005 they've built an innovative platform which has been customised for over 500 sites, helping to increase brand and artist presence which in turn helps to increase revenue. It's been so successful that they have been able to achieve a turnover of 7 Million.
The company is now at 50 heads, with 20 of that being within their tech team. They recognise that for them to be at the forefront of innovation they need to continue to hire talented developers, therefore they are looking for 3X PHP developers to join their team.
As a backend developer you will be helping to build platforms for over 50 high profile clients, allowing them to deliver tailored marketing and commerce websites. The majority of your time will be spent building WordPress themes / plugins and Shopify themes / apps.
The company has been working fully remote for the last 15 years, long before it was the new "in thing", therefore they've already set up a really collaborative connected remote environment.
What they're looking for:
- A strong understanding of PHP with ideally 2+ years commercial experience.
- Experience with WordPress e.g Plugin and Theme Creation
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with MySQL database.
