Job Description Summary:

The Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Program Manager is responsible for the creation and implementation of strategic initiatives designed to retain, develop and promote diverse talent. The DE&I Program Manager is Field focused with responsibility for Differently Abled (PWD) and Veteran talent. The Program Manager will develop the strategy and process for full recruitment cycle across both field organizations, sales and supply chain for people who are eligible based on their status of PWD and Veterans. This role will report directly to the DE&I Sr. Manager, Talent Strategist.

The Program Manager must be knowledgeable in all facets of inclusion and retention efforts for our team members in the field organization. Creating and implementing programs and initiatives designed around recruiting, hiring, training, and on-boarding Team Members with Different Abilities (PWD) and Veteran talent across field sales and supply chain areas of the organization. You will develop, implement and track measurable outcomes of strategic initiatives that will advance inclusion and diversity.

The Program Manager must be committed to building successful partnerships at all levels, providing key support and actions in implementing impactful strategies inspiring our Team, helping our customers succeed, and growing our Differently Abled and Veteran Team Member population year over year and reducing turnover, focusing on retention. The Role

  • In collaboration with Talent Acquisition, HR and Business Leaders to design, implement and grow specific field strategy and process for full recruitment cycle across both field organizations, sales and supply chain for Differently Abled (PWD) and Veteran talent
  • Develop the strategy and process for full recruitment cycle across both field organizations, sales and supply chain.
  • Define key messages, talking points, and branding for Different Abilities (PWD) & Veterans Talent initiative
  • Act as a DEI subject matter advisor to integrate DEI content across the marketing and communications organization
  • Build a scalable strategy for high touch communications/engagement strategy for DEI
  • Project manage and influence cross functional working teams, including Legal, Governance, Marketing and Communications to launch on-time, effective hiring initiatives
  • Define and report on DEI PWD and Veterans hiring measurable outcomes as a result of the programs from the Office of Diversity
  • Bring a high energy, results-oriented and resourceful mindset and quickly take control of your responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Team Member Networks to effectively capture and communicate initiatives that they lead and develop.
  • Ability to work across the organization and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, as well as manage and support external communications where appropriate working closely with communications
  • The Program Manager must be knowledgeable in all facets of inclusion and retention efforts

Talent Metrics and Accountability

  • Veteran Metrics:
    • Maintain 10K veterans within the company at all times and continue to Increase veteran hiring talent YOY by 10%
    • Retention Metrics: At or below the company's annual turnover rate
  • Different Abilities (PWD) Metrics:
    • Hiring 750 PWD Team Members yearly
    • Retention Metrics: At or below the company's annual turnover rate

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of progressive prior work or experience in marketing and communications role
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of management and leadership
  • Ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution
  • Experience with crafting messaging and marketing campaigns
  • Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Experience demonstrating high judgment and working with confidential or highly sensitive subject matter
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with a globally diverse group
