NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our client’s team. This is a REMOTE, permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Identify user and business needs.
- Collaborate with team members and leaders to ensure needs are recognized and documented.
- Create system requirements for team members.
- Document requirements and translate into specifications for each project.
- Understanding of multiple functional areas related to projects and the ability to identify and quantify business process improvements along with system improvements through the use of technology.
- Possess knowledge of both project management and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) of large-scale development projects.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices.
- Foster communication between technical and non-technical audiences to ensure that technology solutions fulfill the business needs.
- Identify, document and diagram business requirements and processes.
- Assist with validation and testing of interfaces written to the design specification
Qualifications
- At least four years of experience
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Proficient in MS Office to include: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Project
- Background in unemployment or finance
- Experience interfacing with customers, internal managers and staff
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL query techniques
