Position Summary

Work you’ll do 

  • Provide technical assessment for developing architecture roadmap and analyze new business products and emerging technology
  • Provide technical analysis and sizing information for lean business cases
  • Participate in the meetings/briefings directed by delivery team and provide status of assignments and present impediments
  • Plan for and conduct artifact review process, per the project guidelines, and ensure all artifacts are communicated with and reviewed by the relevant stakeholders, and their comments and feedback are addressed prior to sending the artifacts for signature
  • Coordinate and conduct the artifact signature process; and ensure that artifacts will be distributed for signature in timely manner and signatures are received by the planned timeline
  • Communicate with and escalate the issues and risks, impacting the on-time completion of artifacts, to manager
  • Provide recommendations and input for improving the documentation process.
  • Maintain all the artifacts in designated folders and/or other shared repository folders. Identify stories that would require documentation updates
  •  Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering/Technical Architecture/Solution Architecture
  • Well versed understanding in technology stack including Java, Spring Framework, JBoss and Oracle
  • Experienced in developing Architecture and Roadmap
  • Experienced with specification ofarchitecturecomponentsusing available design tools: IBM RationalArchitect, MS Word, and MS Visio
  • Experienced in data model designs, flows, types, and structures related to data and application needs
  • Experienced in developing UML diagrams to define the logical and physical architecture
  • Experienced with project documentation: Solution Concept/Architecture (SC/SA) , Vision, Scope, and Architecture (VSA), interface specifications, and alternative of analysis artifacts
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University 
  • Former Federal/Government Project experience
