Position Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Operations Associate will support the day-to-day business operations and ensure the successful execution of all organizational administrative processes. A successful applicant will be highly organized and have a versatile skill set to support a variety of different business functions with a diverse range of tasks. This person should have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), be a process thinker, with a critical attention to detail. Candidates should have a passion for social justice and support on our mission of ending harassment in all its forms. Please note this position requires some onsite attendance (Brooklyn, NY) Responsibilities Responsible for general office duties, routing phone calls, data entry, and fulfilling miscellaneous external inquiries sent to Finance email. Receive and forward (in person at office location) correspondence, including scanning mail and checks, to appropriate staff. Coordinate shipping of any equipment to/from office location. Order office equipment for staff, create tracking systems and monitor operational budgets Develop policies and processes to improve departmental workflow. Assist with special projects and research for new initiatives. Provide administrative and capacity support to departments as needed Build knowledge of organizational systems and provide troubleshooting support to staff. Including systems such as: Zoom, Slack, Asana, Hugo, Lastpass, Harvest Create invoices in Quickbooks, maintain accounts receivable on a monthly basis Regularly update organizational calendars and wiki site Assist in special projects as needed Requirements Must have a Bachelor's Degree; 2+ years of experience in project management, office administration or similar environment with a proven track record of implementing improvements; Excellent organizational, recordkeeping, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills; Highly organized, detail-oriented, results-driven, and motivated by project coordination and deadlines; Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, effectively, and accurately Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others; Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive growth plans; Strong technical skills across technology platforms (Google Suite, Zoom, Lastpass, Asana, Slack) Must have a genuine passion for ending harassment; Eager to take on challenges with a sense of humor.
