We are fully remote!GENERAL SUMMARY:Represents eXp Realty as a front-line organization to assist agents and brokers with their Real Estate transactions. The Compliance Settlement Specialist works closely with team members across the organization and ensures agents are paid accurately and within the specified timeframe. They are also responsible for reviewing contracts, addendums, notices, and agreements created as a result of our representation of eXp clients and customers. World-class customer service/experience is required for every interaction, with strong problem-solving skills, empathy, and urgency to every engagement.MAJOR FUNCTIONS:Manage and support payment processing in the following areas: Individual Agents Team Transactions (e.g. Mega, Large Teams) State / Geo Based Transactions (e.g. CA, FL, TX)Work within cloud-based back-office systemsStrong attention to detail in reviewing documents and entering data is requiredReview transaction data and prepare Commission Disbursement Authorizations within specified timeframesAssist Agents with payment processing management platform and commission disbursement questionsWork closely with Brokers and communicate the status of files to fulfillReview transaction documents and incoming settlement statements to ensure documents match Enterprise before settling files. Able to work with the agents and settlement companies to identify and resolve errors on files Effectively and promptly communicates with agents regarding deficiencies in documents and providing explanation and assistance Works hand-in-hand with the Designated Managing Broker(s) by supporting efforts to ensure compliance.Performs contract review to ensure the legal and contractual compliance of transactionsComplete daily tasks in a timely efficient mannerGreet Agents/New Recruits in cloud-based office and provide assistance and guidanceCommunicate and answer Agent questions in a timely mannerAbility to maintain confidentiality and work well with agentsComplete daily tasks in a timely efficient mannerAssist the immediate needs of agents and brokersPerforms other duties as assignedJOB SPECIFICATIONS:Education:BA/AA strongly preferredHigh School Diploma/GED requiredExperience1+ years of relevant experience in real estate transaction process with a focus on delivering a world-class customer service/experience preferred1+ years of experience in contract reviewReal estate experience in Transaction Contract Management requiredSkySlope experience preferredActive real estate license (preferably a Broker's license) with continuing education credits in real estate, management, and legal compliance strongly preferred. Note: A license may be required in some statesA keen interest in, and experience in real estate compliance activities to include a thorough knowledge and understanding of legal obligations of real estate professionals under the state and federal law and in accordance with local MLS/Board Rules and RegulationsExcellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of the organizationHighly collaborative and capable of working with internal partners to facilitate successful resultsAbility to make quick decisions and solve problems using good judgmentPossess the highest degree of integrityMember of the National Association of REALTORS (NAR)Ability to read and interpret documents including real estate contracts, leases, and settlement statementsAbility to maintain confidentiality and work well with agents#LI-KF1eXp Realty is an equal employment opportunity employer.
