Duties and Responsibilities
The Risk System Support Analyst is a subject matter expert that provides necessary oversight of the risk systems, enhanced and effective reporting, and increases efficiencies by relieving existing staff from duties not in their skill set or outside their existing job functions.
BSA/FIU Data and System needs, including design and implementation of FinTech transaction monitoring systems
Build data and reporting solutions that ensure quality and accessibility of information
Establish reporting from the compliance systems to support production metrics and capacity planning.
Work with system administrator to define reporting needs from across the enterprise.
Identify processes to forecast projections on staffing to prepare for business changes such as growth.
Develop methodology for obtaining samples for testing.
Develop advanced reporting and use/maintain analytics for trends, key risk indicators, and risk appetite boundaries.
Gather business requirements from stakeholders and develop various risk and compliance reports and analytics in a consistent manner.
Create processes to ensure staff cost allocation is incorporated into budgeting and pricing for FinTechs and other business lines.
Reconciliation between unusual activity referrals received for cases identified outside of the system and cases in Verafin.
Assist in model validation reviews.
Necessary Skills and AttributesRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer related field or equivalent experience
Experience with computer languages such as CSS, Microsoft SQL, #C, and HMLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical data
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with BSA/AML software
Previous experience dealing with support cases or requests via e-mail, telephone and in person
