The Engineering team plays a key role in defining and growing DocASAP's intelligent, market leading platform. You will play a significant part in supporting the transformation and scalability of our platform to meet the market needs. You will be supporting and driving the DocASAP SaaS capabilities, responsible for building and managing our APIs. We are looking for a Senior Angular/JS Developer to join our technical team and deliver a streamlined user experience to our patient access and engagement platform. We want a team member who is passionate about working in a high-energy environment and eager to improve designs/user interfaces to help achieve scale in the long term. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within United States as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Work as a part of our core engineering team to ensure the highest standards of design, implementation, performance, and security Work closely with the product team to ensure all customer needs are met Design and build upcoming new features Support and extend existing features Be an active participant on an agile development team building a web application that is transforming how we approach the connecting the right patients with the right providers through a web-based application Develop dynamic and visually appealing UI components Collaborate directly with program leadership on potential features and functionalities Leverage opportunities to learn, research, and introduce new modern frameworks and libraries Participate in ideation of modern technology use cases to help our 1-1 readiness partners better serve our customers Collaborate with other scrum teams to build cohesive and optimal solutions Ensuring code standards and code quality and security are met You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree 4+ years of experience working in software engineering organizations Experience in Angular 6+ Experience in HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code Experience with AJAX and JavaScript Dom manipulation techniques Experience in RESTful services Experience with JavaScript build tools like, or similar to, grunt or gulp Experience with the Agile Framework Good knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design and programming If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.
