As part of the team, your program and project management skills and attention to detail will be used across a spectrum of Clinical Quality activities. You'll work within our business model that is highly adaptable, allowing you to quickly and effectively address emerging needs in a changing health care landscape. You will be involved with initiatives crossing business teams and operating groups to coordinate projects, identify, analyze and improving existing STAR business processes, operationalize new programs to support continuous quality improvement, define performance, and drive results.

You will provide program and project management (and sometimes business analysis) support for a variety of projects – with activities and artifacts including project plans, IRAADs, status reports, presentations, meeting agendas & minutes, identification of roles & responsibilities, quality tracking, issue or conflict resolution, and meeting scheduling. You'll investigate non-standard requests and problems, make presentations to leadership and take pride in completing projects on time and within scope. In addition, this position will be responsible for direction and guidance on clinical quality improvement and managed programs across all STAR Measures (HEDIS, Part D, CAHPS and HOS). Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of project management and support for various projects as assigned
  • Identify opportunities and actively participate in process improvements related to enhancing health plan quality 
  • Participate on key workgroups to collaborate and manage an effective Member Engagement process (i.e.: Marketing, Healthcare Economics, Dual SNP Local and Regional Health Plan Staff, Sourcing and procurement) 
  • Collaborate with external vendors for Member Engagement implementation and program execution
  • Participate in regional quality programs and committees as needed 
  • Provide timely written and/or verbal communications to critical stakeholders, management and executive leadership regarding key deliverables
  • Able to function effectively in a multi-project environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work schedule and tasks 
  • Ability to work in a self-directed, environment
  • Facilitate/support the STARS Operations Meeting 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

    Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • 2+ years of healthcare experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience leading projects, managing timelines and deliverables
  • Experience working in a matrix environment
  • Experience in analyzing process outcome metrics to determine effectiveness of programs, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions 
  • Knowledge and experience with Medicare and Retirement 
  • Intermediate Proficiency with: Excel: pivot tables, formulas, various spreadsheets creation/updating Word and PowerPoint: Executive leadership report outs, position papers, creating, reformatting, compiling various reports into a summary
  • SharePoint: basic experience (posting documents, updating shared documents, etc.) 
  • Experience working virtually (SharePoint, WebEx, Teams)
  • Ability to travel 10%

    Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400.
