Beacon Resources, in partnership with a company specializing in security, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic fast-paced FP&A team located in the Irvine area on a direct hire basis.

Job – The hired Senior Financial Analyst will perform general FP&A duties with modeling, trend analysis, sales KPI’s, and dashboard design. The Senior Financial Analyst will report to a Director of Finance.

Compensation/Benefits – Salary range starts at $90,000/year and increases depending on qualifications. Our client offers a bonus to supplement your base compensation. You will be offered standard health insurance plans.

DUTIES OF THE SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

  • Assist in the development and execution of the financial budgets for the Company
  • Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process with department heads/project leads to ensure financial information is provided on a regular basis in order to effectively manage the business
  • Develop presentations and analysis of budget performance and key business metrics
  • Perform analytics to support commercial planning activities, business development activities and strategic planning activities
  • Update balance sheet assumptions and projections as updated financial data comes in
  • Conduct financial analyses, reconciliations and special projects requiring financial support as requested
  • Assists with special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in preparing analyses.
Miscellaneous
  • Support finance and cross-functional process improvement initiatives to help the business scale
  • Accept other ad hoc duties as assigned
Required

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
  • BA in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Five (5) + years of progressive experience in FP&A
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.

Technical
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, and IF formulas) and MS PowerPoint
Interpersonal
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment
  • Ability to work well with different departments and in different capacities
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced company environment with minimal direction
