Officially called the Regional Market Solutions Director, this position will serve the West and a portion of the Midwest working with sales, account management and brokers as their subject matter expert for our dental product. This position is the go-to for all things dental, e.g., sales strategy, sales positioning, market level business reviews and competitive positioning. Additionally, the Regional Director is responsible for developing and deploying the business strategy for these regions. As a Regional Market Solutions Director, you'll identify obstacles to sales success and then work strategically and creatively to eliminate them.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of market and sales strategies and value proposition
  • Possesses expert consultative and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence both internal and external stakeholders of all business levels
  • Manage cross-segment projects and initiatives that require problem solving, relationship building, and analyzing
  • Identifies and determines business solutions that positively impact the dental organization
  • Demonstrates excellent grasp of UHC product as well as competitor products
  • Ability to operate in a matrix environment with other UnitedHealth leaders to drive results

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of sales or account management experience
  • Dental insurance benefits experience
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others
  • Willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Client-facing experience
  • Healthcare experience

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
