Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a Remote Senior UI/UX Designer.Key Tasks:

  • Senior UI/UX Designer will build User Experience (UX) deliverables such as design comps/mockups, wireframes, flow charts, functional specifications, and style guides
  • Perform research with subject matter experts and business analysts to discover opportunities, develop requirements and personas
  • Consult with cross-functional teams to provide technical feasibility studies, and identify usability advantages to drive solid decisions
  • Manage User Interface (UI) Standard Template and keep it updated
  • As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will create templates for web, desktop, smartphones, tablets and others; Train, partner, and support technology teams use of the UI template
  • Solve technical/business problems and contribute to the delivery of business solutions
  • Ensure compliance with the standards for all end-user facing technology applications
  • Leads usability testing using a lean and lightweight approach
  • Serves as lead designer and consultant for applications with high levels of complexity
  • Senior UI/UX Designers lead collaboration activities for the design team for standardization
  • Serves as a mentor on the design team
  • Create user experience flows, user profiles and other deliverables that align with product milestones
  • Excellent communicator of the design concept, interaction behavior, and rationale to end users, product owners, and technology team
  • Proactively identify UX component enhancements and develop design efficiency that benefits the enterprise
  • Partners with the UI Developers during implementation


  • High School diploma/GED
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required in Advertising, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Systems/Technology, or other related field
  • 7 or more years of experience in user centered design/technology projects
  • 5 or more years of experience in user centered design/technology projects
  • Must have the ability to perform in a fast-paced agile environment and help drive change and can distill complex scenarios into easy-to-understand user experience design requirements; Thrives in cross-functional teams and engages with Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and other designers to create best-in-class user experience; Requires an understanding of the user and business needs and be able to translate them into a customer-focused solution
  • Familiar with Agile software development processes
  • Knowledge of web, mobile and desktop application platforms
  • Knowledge of user-centered design principles
  • Ability to create Web Application User Interface (UI) Development/UI Flow
  • CSS Design ability
  • Experience presenting cohesive design approaches to a non-design audience (including business, product, and technology teams)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving, logical thinking, and quantitative skills
  • Expert in building User Experience (UX) deliverables such as design comps/mockups, flow charts, functional specifications, and style guides
  • Ability to create lo and hi-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and screen flows from design mockups using common tools
  • Ability to create interaction design for hi-fidelity wireframes and prototypes using Axure to support enterprise design consistency
