As a Software Engineer, Workday Integrations, you will play a critical role within the enterprise integrations core team at Splunk. In this role you will do the following.

  • Design, develop and maintain complex bidirectional integrations with Workday and other applications.
  • Find creative ways to automate processes for business users.
  • Ensure timelines and development standards are met.
  • Monitor integration error logs to ensure that things are working properly.
  • Gathering and analyzing integration issues to outline trends and creating action plans to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Testing of new system features, releases and evaluating the impact to integrations.
  • Maintain integration documentation
  • Requirements: I’ve already done that or have that!

  • 5+ years of required experience working with and building integrations with HCM systems in a professional, fast-paced environment.
  • 4+ years of experience building Workday integrations (EIB, CCB, Document Transformation, Calculated Fields, and Workday Studio)
  • Experience in gathering requirements from users and proposing alternative designs.
  • Experience in Workday Report Writing (standard, dashboard, and composite).
  • Well versed in Workday Business Process Fundamentals (customization and optimization)
  • Fluent in XSLT and exposure to Java or Python
  • Experience with Web Services & REST APIs
  • Analytical approach to solving system issues including understanding system interdependencies
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills working with multiple teams across disciplines
  • Highly motivated and self-starter who is quick and open to adapt to new technologies
  • Preferred knowledge and experience: These are a huge plus.

  • Able to code in Java (or other popular languages)
  • Experienced in Workday pre-release testing
  • Working knowledge of Workday Security Fundamentals
  • Experience with MuleSoft
  • Knowledge of Splunk products
  • Workday Certification
  • Education: Got it!

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
