Special Counsel is seeking an experienced commercial real-estate paralegal for an AmLaw200 Firm to join their Manhattan practice.
Ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in commercial real estate in legal department or law firm.

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, summarizing, analyzing, and coordinating contracts and real estate diligence, including easements, CCRs, surveys, environmental reports, title commitments and policies, title and survey objection letters, and closing statements
- Coordinating transaction closings; assisting with real estate purchase, sales, leasing, and financing
- Proficiency with handling commercial closings; UCC financing statements, closing instruction letters, closing binders
- Familiarity with formation of corporations, LLCs and other entities
- Communicating with third party clients for additional paperwork
- Coordinating loans
Qualifications:
- Due diligence
- Title and survey review experience a plus
- Past experience at large firm a plus
- Notary Public licensed in New York State
- 4+ years in commercial real estate
- Ability to work independently without direction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word a, PowerPoint, and Excel
