Cloud Solutions Architect (up to 100% remote)

This includes cloud modernization strategy, cloud managed services, developing processes for cloud service provisioning, requirements development, and enhancing cloud capabilities to solve mission problems.Responsibilities:Design, implement and maintain a federal cloud platformWorking with the government, vendors and teaming partners to integrate systems for the overall success.Developing staff and ensure ongoing performance and professional growth.Overseeing and continually improving delivery on program, including supporting problem resolution.Creating effective business and technical cloud strategies and solutions that drive growth and executionQualifications:10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and designing and architecting large scale applications, including SaaS and cloud based applications.Expertise in service-oriented architecture, web services, and application programming interfaces5+ years of experience in decomposing application components and determining how to leverage various technologies found with modern cloud services3+ years of experience taking disparate business problems and delivering the best technology solutions for large scale applicationsExperience working in one or multiple IT areas, but with the versatility to grow in other areas:Cloud enabled/cloud native solutionsSecDevOpsAdvanced AnalyticsMachine Learning/Artificial Intelligence/Robotic Process AutomationIntegration/API/MicroservicesUser ExperienceAgile Methodologies e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeanDesired:3+ years of experience improving customer experience by automating software development lifecycle (SDLC) as CICD pipelines and workflows using DevOps technologiesAWS Certified Solutions ArchitectExperience with JIRASAFe certificationWHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:401K with company matchDiverse, highly collaborative teamsChallenging work that makes a real impact on the world around youInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career We are GDIT.
