As the Senior AEM Front-end developer you will be joining a team of talented developers that have a strong focus on the customer experience. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence, architects, developers, solution architects, quality engineers, DevOps, and project managers to support and enhance the world-class digital platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with content and design teams to build or enhance templates, components and functionalities to support marketing campaigns​
  • Participate in the development, design, testing and deployment of solutions built on the Adobe Experience Manager platform​
  • Resolve user-identified functional and technical issues on AEM platform.​
  • Program JS & CSS code using Bootstrap, Jquery, SASS and other modern libraries around a CMS platform
  • Build templates, components and authorable areas within a CMS​
  • Support internal users as a subject matter expert, recommending enhancements, best practices and new processes to optimize use and adoption of the platform​
  • Developing front end applications in a modular and extensible way​
  • Experience working in Kanban and Scrum teams. Responsible for grooming and acting on user stories in an Agile scrum team
  • Conduct code review with other members of the team
  • Familiar with source control and bug tracking methodologies
  • Champion the User Experience across our software development process
  • Optimize our web applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Experience in collaborative work environments, with a Marketing team, web Agency, DevOps and engineering. Strong communication skills and ability to drive to a solution
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Expert level development skills in AEM v6.X and strong knowledge of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and HTML5, CSS3 (Bootstrap, SASS, Flexbox, CSS Grid)
  • Experience building components with HTL and JSP in AEM. Comfortable working with debugging tools, Inspectors, etc.
  • An AEM expert with extensive, proven experience on using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS and Product Catalogues​
  • Knowledgeable in creating separated libraries (JS & CSS) based around a CMS and building templates, components and authorable areas within a CMS​
  • High proficiency and understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud a plus 
  • Focused and self-motivated having the ability to work effectively in a remote or in person environment
  • Customer focused. You will have the maturity and initiative to do what it takes to achieve results with the end customer top of mind
  • Solid experience with AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, custom widgets, workflow development, configurations, and bundles
  • Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools.
  • Install and Configure core code bundles for AEM related projects.
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and ensure that application will adhere to them
  • Good understanding of Accessibility principles and ensure that application will adhere to them
  • Experience with MS Azure
