About the Role You’ll help to fuel growth by translating business strategies, vision and values into multi-channel, integrated communications to key stakeholders both inside and outside the company. This role will be primarily responsible for supporting communications for our corporate functions, partnering closely with internal teams including human resources and IT. This individual is passionate about telling the company story internally, externally, and through social communications. This position requires experience across internal and external communications, executive communications, public relations and social media. The right candidate is a compelling writer and communicator, who will serve as an advisor to various teams around communications and internal and external messaging. She/he must work well in a fast-paced work environment, under deadlines, and be able to clearly define priorities. Candidate must be a self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a team. About the Work Create and execute proactive, strategic internal and external communications that build awareness, understanding and reputation through strategic brand and product positioning, industry thought leadership, and ability to shape a story and craft compelling messages. Partner with key internal stakeholders, business unit teams, and corporate functions to better understand the business as well as priorities and needs across teams to effectively deliver and support communications that builds employee and stakeholder engagement and understanding of the business, strategic objectives, vision and values. Work with the HR/Culture/change Management team to create and implement initiatives and communications to support employees and leaders. Create a cohesive narrative and distill key messages across communications channels and audiences, presenting them in a compelling and visually interesting way. Write and manage key internal communications, including core messaging, talking points, internal articles, company-wide emails/newsletters, Q&As, scripts, presentations, and other communication materials. Draft communications for leadership as needed including speeches, letters, video scripts, reports/presentations and announcements. Assist with global webcasts and business sessions as needed. Identify, create and pursue thought-leadership opportunities and activities internally and externally. Develop external communications materials including press releases, messaging, FAQs, PR plans, pitches, holding statements, etc. Provide PR counsel to internal clients across functions and levels to manage expectations and educate as necessary. Support the company’s social channels through content development and contribution Proactively identify new opportunities and implement new processes that up-level our communications program. Serve as a strategic advisor for key stakeholders and leadership team. About You Strong experience in internal/external communications, change management, public relations, social media, in an agency or corporate environment Proactive and constantly looking for ways to connect the dots between teams and employees Experience managing communications at a fast-paced, dynamic company. Experience developing and managing communications through mergers and acquisitions, integrations and during crisis incidents. Excellent communicator with exceptional writing, grammar, editing and copywriting skills, with the ability to craft messages for a variety of voices from leadership teams. A natural storyteller, have experience building editorial calendars independently, and have a passion for crafting stories through words, pictures, and video Out-of-the box thinker who is strategic, critical, and creative A keen visual sense, an eye for detail, and mastery of both technical and aesthetic best practices for images and video Exceptional organizational and project management skills; executing with speed, accuracy, and efficiency with strong attention to detail.
