Job Description

To lead the Sales (API and Partner Label), Alliance Management and GPS activities for B2B
within the LATAM region to maximize sales and product performance for Sandoz. This
includes
defining the regional B2B strategy as well as managing all sales, partnership strategy,
project/launch management and registration activities to maintain existing accounts and
grow the business through new customer acquisition. Key deliverables include achievement of
sales and gross margin targets, customer acquisition and operational plans.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Develop and execute elaborated sales growth strategies that align and meet company objectives and revenue growth expectations in assigned region
•Regional Sales, Alliance Management & GPS responsibility for the operational business relationship with a defined set of customer accounts / defined territory
•Ensure close cooperation between B2B functions and regional CommOps teams to maximise value to Sandoz.
•Special focus on the Sale of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and Finished Dosage Forms (FDF) in key LATAM markets
•Ensure timely product launches in cooperation with B2B LPM, TCC, Finance and SC
•Define and execute elaborated regional sales expansion plans (5Y Strategic Plan) for API and / or FDF based on in-depths knowledge of the market place (business and pricing environment, customers, competing supply chains etc.)

Minimum requirements

1st degree in life sciences or business related subject equivalent

English, one/several languages relating to the key markets are of advantage

•Minimum of 5-7 years in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in Sales and Business Development
•Experience in Sales of APIs and the management of Agent organizations / “Middle-men” of advantage
•A solid understanding of the principles underpinning the pharmaceutical industry including a basic know-how around regulatory and quality
•Entrepreneurial, positive and high-energy team player with strong beliefs in ownership, accountability, ethics and transparency
•Ability to coordinate and manage cross-functional teams around customer relationships applying a constructive and collaborative style
•Thrives in dynamic business environments and proficient at meeting or exceeding targets. Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills
•Excellent negotiator with effective presentation and communication abilities
