Job Overview

As Remote Security Operations Center Analyst, you will have the opportunity to provide situational awareness through the detection, containment, and remediation of Information Technology threats and assist in ensuring incidents are properly identified, analyzed, communicated, actioned/defended, investigated and reported.   • Provide analysis and trending of security log data from a large number of heterogeneous security devices.
  • Provide Incident Response (IR) support when analysis confirms actionable incident.
  • Provide threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advisory services.
  • Analyze and respond to previously undisclosed security issues and emerging trends.
  • Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends.
  • Integrate and share information with other analysts and other teams. You could be a great addition as Remote Security Operations Center Analyst if you have:
  • 100% Remote
  • Reliable internet (DSL or faster)
  • 1+ years of experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent
  • Ability to work extended hours to resolve active security incident
  • Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis and network/security applications
  • Knowledge of common internet protocols and applications
  • Working knowledge of security information and event management (SIEM) preferred
  • Certifications such as Security+, CEH, GIAC, CASP, CISSP preferred
  • Computer literate with strong Excel skills
