$50,000 - $60,000 base plus uncapped commission

Job Description  

We are searching for a Medical Sales & Market Development representative who is passionate about developing, learning and improving patient outcomes through the highly personalized data that InBody provides.  The candidate is dedicated to building high-risk, high-reward capabilities to drive biomedical breakthroughs by introducing the InBody technology for transformative solutions to all patients in a variety of settings.  It is crucial that the candidate thrives in our fast-paced, thoughtful and entrepreneurial environment for whom integrity and continuous growth come naturally.  

  

Essential Responsibilities 

  • Demonstrate, promote, and sell InBody’s professional line of Body Composition Analyzers -Strategically present functionality and key value propositions to researchers and medical professionals to meet and exceed sales quota. Attend clinical conferences to demonstrate and discuss products at the booth, attend lectures for partner opportunities, and deepening multidisciplinary uses of InBody. 
  • Develop and foster relationships - Partner with clinical research team members for sourcing best studies and collaborating on introductory emails, calls, and videoconference presentations. Maintain close communications with existing and prospective researchers to close sales and promote retention.  
  • Present and educate InBody’s technology - Thoughtfully & concisely articulate how InBody can enhance research, pathways, and patient outcome. Send relevant, compelling studies to substantiate purchase 
  • Execute sales strategies – Collaborate with lead generating team in continuously uploading potential clients for movement along the sales cycle. Report on buyer trends, emerging markets, successful strategies, and challenges for regularly improving best practice 
  • Meet and exceed targets - Attain monthly, quarterly, and annual quota and goals for new acquisition.  
  • Track progress and results - Record prospect interactions and track goal attainment in CRM system.  

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Master’s preferred) in Biology, Kinesiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or any medical-related science 
  • Must complete and pass the internal products certification training within the introductory period 
  • 1+ years sales experience, preferably in clinical, medical device, and/or medical equipment sale
  • Highly entrepreneurial, positive, coachable, self-aware, capable of long-range planning with minimal supervision  
  • Excellent oral, written communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills 
  •  Effectively make formal and informal product presentations 
  •  Work and contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere 
  •  Exceptional organizational skills 
  •  Proficient with Microsoft Office 
  • Travel up to 15% (attending trade shows/conventions and business trips) 

   

Desired Qualifications 

  • Experience in lead mining and grant funding cycle 
  • CRM knowledge (Equivalent to Pipedrive) 
  • Customer service skills and/or healthcare industry experience
