Position: Software Engineer II
Our client is an innovative IoT/Design/Manufacturing company headquartered in West Michigan. They are seeking a full-time, permanent Software Engineer II to be an integral part of their Software Development team!

JOB DESCRIPTION:
In this role, you will be help serve as a Lead Developer and provide technical direction to the software development team creating a dynamics IoT platform. You'll have the ability to be hands on with architecture, design, implementation and maintenance that will be crucial for the CI/CD pipeline and projects. If you enjoy the ability to work mostly remote, spearheading modern tech projects and help serving as a development lead, this may be a great opportunity for you!
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of Full Stack Development experience.
- Proficient with JavaScript, Linux Command Line & Node-Red.
- Knowledgeable with open source development tools.
- Experience with Linux Administration.
- Experience with Containerization tools such as Docker, Belena, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines within a DevOps environment.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable being a mentor to more junior developers.
BONUS EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with TIG Stack (Telegraf, Influx, Grafana).
- Experience with MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node)
- Experience with open source technologies such as PostureSQL, Nginx and Electon.
- Previous Management/Team Lead experience and good organization skills.
REQUIRED WORK AUTHORIZATION:
- Must have current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship
