Fulfillment Planner
Location: Buffalo, NY – Largely remote with occasional on-site meetings/visits, so must be local enough to commute as needed.
Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour
Schedule: 8:30am – 5pm
Duration: 8-9 month contract position

Key Working Relationships | Customer Service, Mfg Operations & Shipping, 3rd Party Transportation & Distribution providers, Marketing, International Logistics, Contract Manufacturing, Procurement |
Key Responsibilities | Systems and Application Acumen & Data and Financial Analysis • Strong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint (Access preferred); advanced proficiency in Excel • SAP or related systems experience preferred • Plan, create, change, and complete purchase orders utilizing tools & technology investments to achieve stated goals in case fill, order management, and utilization • Track and develop improvement plans to reduce unplanned shortages • Analyze and review inventory to minimize spoilage • Develops actionable plans to improve customer order fill rate Customer Service Management and Supplier Management • Develop deployment strategy based on current demand and production plans at the sku location level. • Manage potential inventory shortage reports. Take action to reduce shortages to customers • Communicate customer shortages to Customer Service Representatives where appropriate • Communicate significant inventory shortages to Supply Planners and/or Sales Channel Service Managers • Communicate purchase plans with contract manufacturers • Maintain 3rd Party Transportation Providers inbound Scheduling tool Inventory Management, Supply Chain Acumen, Project Management, Negotiation, Process Knowledge, and Strategic Sourcing • Develop & monitor & manage constrained storage environments to effectively manage throughput and minimize unplanned expenses • Maintain distribution center inbound schedule database • Maintain the plant outbound shipment load plan • Maximize Stock transfer order freight utilization • Manage the movement of dc to dc inventory transfers through the C-item deployment process • Performs all accountabilities within the policies, procedures, and code of ethics |
