Responsibilities

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Clerk II to support our nationally based Provider Enrollment team. This role is responsible for administrative duties as assigned by the Department Director.

A local presence in Raleigh, NC is preferred. With the right qualifications, this position may be staffed remotely. Ideally one should be located within the EST or CST time zones.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Open and sort mail distributing to appropriate personnel for company-wide provider enrollment
  • Assist Process Leaders with miscellaneous tasks (i.e., sorting correspondence by payor)
  • Scan and upload documentation in provider enrollment system
  • Data Entry into various systems (i.e., Smartsheet, PECOS, NPPES)
  • Handle email correspondence and incoming mail, correspondence, and materials; sort, organize, and distribute as instructed.
  • Enter and track data in database or other tracking mechanism as instructed
  • Research and follow up on requests which may require internet research
  • Scan, fax, file, and copy information as instructed
  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned
  • Adhere to Information Security Policies and ensure that Envision Healthcare is as secure as possible
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to communicate and work well in a team environment
  • Meet established production and quality goals/metrics
  • Able to effectively prioritize work on a daily basis and follow up on open items in a timely manner
  • Comfortable applying critical thinking to determine appropriate parties for mail items, recognizing when urgency is required
  • Must be comfortable in a work-from-home environment
  • Must meet company basic standards for working remotely

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 2+ years of related experience in a fast paced, dynamic healthcare environment
  • Experience in Provider Enrollment and/or billing preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Experience also preferred with Smartsheet, PECOS, EmWorks, Adobe, and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate payor / provider enrollment databases for data management tasks
