About the Team
Our Strategic Platform Solution Train Engineer Team has responsibility for the overall end to end delivery of value within the organization including overall backlog management including roadmaps and dependency mapping. The Solution Train Engineer has responsibility for Cross-Functional Team Coordination, Work Management, Facilitating Planning and overall Continuous Improvement. They have intimate knowledge of the Epic and work they are supporting ensuring that the cross functional product, delivery and business teams are working together to delivery business value. The Solution Train Engineer has responsibility for facilitating the end to end delivery of value at the Epic level within the Organization. This includes overall backlog management including roadmaps and dependency mapping. They have responsibility for Cross-Functional Team Coordination, Work Management, Facilitating Program Increment Planning and overall management of the Program Increment. The Solution Train Engineer is the single point of contact for the Epic both in and outside the organization and will be responsible for communicating with stakeholders, escalating and removing impediments, managing risk and driving relentless improvement. They will act as the Servant Leader of the Epic Team and foster continuous improvements via Inspect and Adapt workshops and regularly review program boards, feature/story burndowns and burn ups to understand PI Progress. The Solution Train Engineer is expected to have effective communication both written and verbal along with attention to detail and organizational skills to work across the various stakeholders. This includes the ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers and senior leaders.

This role will assist the Strategic Platform Team in facilitating end to end delivery of value at the Epic level. They will work across the full Strategic Platform Organization along with Partnering Teams on the overall delivery while gaining key contacts. The Solution Train Engineer is the single point of contact for the Epic both in and outside the organization and will be responsible for communicating with stakeholders, escalating and removing impediments, managing risk and driving relentless improvement. They will act as the Servant Leader of the Epic Team and foster continuous improvements via Inspect and Adapt workshops and regularly review program boards, feature/story burndowns and burn ups to understand PI Progress. Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View
  • Servant Leader and Facilitator of Agile Events including all phases of Program Increment (PI) Planning, PI Demos and Retrospectives
  • Facilitating the end to end delivery of value at the Epic Level

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s Degree
  • 6+ years of Agile Delivery & Methodology Experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile Development, Agile Delivery and Agile Metrics
  • Technical Aptitude related to Agile Development, Dev Ops and Architecture
  • Skilled at juggling multiple demands
  • Ability to function well in uncertain situations
  • Experience with negotiation and critical thinking
  • 4+ years of experience working within scaled agile development team
  • Demonstrates strong sense of urgency, ownership and operates in a collaborative manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders.
