The Remote Capture Manager will:

  • Pro-actively identify new business opportunities by researching ongoing trends in the public healthcare marketplace.
  • Perform market research to qualify new business opportunities, including analysis of customer's budget, capabilities required, current customer preferences, competitive environment assessments and incumbent strengths and weaknesses.
  • Perform gap analyses of MAXIMUS capabilities against customer requirements.
  • Lead program development and execution and provide detailed reports on activities to Operation senior staff, Division managers and program managers.
  • Actively participate in the overall strategic planning by linking pursuits/capture activities which support the quarterly business development metrics for awards, submits, and pipeline.
  • Provider operational assumptions and work with operators to balance sales vs. execution.
  • Provide historical longitudinal guidance of competitors for operational clients.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent pursuits and manage B&P spend to less than 1.5% of TCV.
  • Utilize historical data to provide predictive win outcomes and price to win analysis.
  • Interact routinely with all levels of Operation and Group management, infrastructure POCs, staff and customers, and follow through on tasking.
  • Brief capture status to senior management at specified milestones in the capture process.
  • Conduct after action reviews for all business opportunity capture participants to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture techniques, strategy, and actions.
  • Provide decision making under uncertainty while documenting defensible assumptions.
  • Provide lead analyst with weekly briefings.
  • Brief VP of Capture and Division President when required.
  • Detail work plan and schedule for completion of activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • 3 years of management experience and 5 years of related experience required.
  • Must have Capture experience in at least one of these industries: government, health insurance or human services.
