Why Divvy?
Over the past decade, millions of Americans have been forced to put their dreams of homeownership on hold. Home prices have outpaced wage growth while mortgage requirements continue to tighten. As a result, renters are missing out on a critical wealth-building opportunity: owning a home.
At Divvy, we're building an on-ramp to homeownership - one that's more affordable, more flexible, and an overall better fit for the modern American family - and it's working.
We're hiring a creative and entrepreneurial account executive. This role is at the center of Divvy's business and customer journey. Your job will be to explain the Divvy story and program, nurture warm leads through the entire funnel, ultimately leading them to close on their dream home. You have a unique opportunity to re-imagine how Americans shop for homes and leave a lasting impact on thousands of customers' financial future.
Note: Due to the nature of the real estate industry, this role will be expected to work on the weekends, according to a schedule rotation with 1-2 days of weekend work per month. You will only work 5 workdays on any given week. We have tried to create an optimal team pod structure to balance out time commitments for the team and enable folks to get appropriate time off.
We are open to US based remote candidates for this role.
What you'll do:
* Manage the full sales-cycle for large value D2C sale from initial interest through home purchase. Handle high level of volume effectively.
* Maintain active engagement with prospects through multi-channels: phone, email, text, chat.
* Deliver exceptional customer experience that you would personally want to have when buying a home.
* Be a Divvy product expert, onboarding new customers to our program with ease.
* Explain financial concepts in a way that is comfortable and easily absorbed by non-financial users.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge on our product and it's value to customers.
* Work with cross-functional teams to improve both product and process, communicating feedback and potential solutions.
* Use Hubspot and our sales tool stack to manage all lead data and uphold each system's data integrity.
What you'll bring:
* 1+ years of professional experience in sales, support or customer-facing role at a D2C technology company or related industry.
* Previous experience selling through multiple channels: phone, text, email, chat.
* Passion for a fast-paced, high-growth, and an always improving environment.
* Strong customer relationship skills: storytelling, listening, compassionate, consultative
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize between competing priorities.
* Exceptional writing skills with attention to grammar and tone.
* Passion for learning and eagerness to dive into the complex world of real estate.
