The Marketing Technology team is responsible for improving and building systems that are focused on lead generation, brand awareness and educating potential consumers of the benefits of our products and services.

As a senior software engineer on the Marketing Technology team you will be helping lead the architecture and direction of the platform; working with vendor consultants and internal technical areas such as data engineering along with marketing partners to design a modern omni-channel Marketing platform.

Must have multi-year hands-on experience within the maturity spectrum of platforms and technologies. You will have a strong passion for exploring, experimenting with, and embracing emerging technologies. The candidate must possess a focused, get-things-done demeanor and be effective at working with little supervision, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and able to reduce ambiguity and friction while maintaining focus.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Partner with engineering and marketing to design and build out our client communications platform leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud and AWS Cloud services/applications.

  • Iterate and improve execution of marketing email campaign management and delivery.

  • Design and build integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and external/internal systems such as CRM, Leads and Sales.

  • Research and solution new capabilities to expand our targeted audience.

  • Help drive cross platform integrations with existing AWS hosted systems.

  • Improve data collection, accessibility and visualizations to measure campaign success.

  • Ability to analyze, design, develop, and deploy web apps and micro services hosted within AWS Cloud Infrastructure.

  • Strong JavaScript experience building backend NodeJS micro-services and responsive React web applications.

  • Experience building robust and easy to consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

  • Self-motivated and driven- a teammate that effectively works well with other engineers, product owners, and non-technical roles.

  • 5+ years of development experience.

  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements.

  • Further impress us with:

  • Certified in one or more of the following: Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Administrator.

  • Hands on experience with the following skillsets: AMPScript, Apex, ETL, Javascript, Rest, Soap.

  • Experience with AWS and services that support large scale data integrations and reporting; such as, AWS AppFlow, BI tooling, Data Lake/Mart management.

  • Frontend skills (such as, React/Redux/Hooks, ES6, TypeScript, Webpack, Design Libraries)

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, Git, Ansible/Terraform, New Relic, Jira
