THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is recruiting on behalf of one of our longstanding clients with offices within London and surrounding areas. As part of their strategic growth plans for the year, they are now looking to add an experienced PHP Developer to the existing team.
As a PHP Developer, you will play a key role in managing complex projects and writing high quality code. You will have a strong interest in developing software and working on improvements whilst bringing new ideas to the table.
This position would be best suited to a seasoned PHP Developer with the ability to collaborate with other technically minded colleagues. You will also be someone who wants the opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of the latest tools and platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the code base
- Managing the architecture of web services
- Managing Databases
- Server and Client end development
- Project Management
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate for the PHP Developer role will have the following skills and experience:
- Experienced with PHP, and PHP frameworks ideally Laravel
- Experienced, ideally with qualifications in AWS (Amazon Web Services), including backup, recovery, load balancing, cost management
- WordPress
- Version control tools - Git
- Apache/Nginx Web Servers
- Experienced in Linux server administration
- Moodle administration and File Maker Pro (highly desirable)
