Company:Description:SummaryThe Data Analyst will be responsible for providing insight to the finance and operational functions of Marsh & McLennan Agency. Through dashboards and reports they can communicate what the data shows with current, forecast and trending models. They will need to have a strong knowledge of the various data sources used in insurance and how it can be assimilated for a unified vision.Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis & Reporting.Compile, organize and assess finance and operational data.Work with regional COO's to understand their data needs.Design, produce, maintain and distribute reports, both in a production environment and on an ad hoc basis.Perform quality assurance testing on all new work product and changes to existing.Create specifications and work with IT data development team to provide elements needed for analytics and reporting.Perform data and statistical analysis, triggered both by individual initiative and management request.Analyze and interpret results and make recommendations to corporate and regional COOs.Create and maintain documentation of data models, analytical representations and reports.Train consumers on the model and data represented.Position QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Experience: Minimum 5 years insurance broker industry experienceAgency Management System Experience: Prior use of retail broker management system software. Sagitta, ImageRight, BenefitPoint a plus.Other RequirementsThis position deals extensively with employee benefits data.
