As a Senior InfoSec/Governance Analyst, you will be trusted to audit customer systems and manage compliance systems for customers across GDIT.In this role, a typical day will include the responsibilities below:Provides security knowledge in FISMA, OMB, NIST and federal government requirements to support IT Security and Privacy compliance.Supports execution of ATO and POAM activities, developing all supporting documentation to demonstrate resolution.Understanding of information systems and architecturesSupports the vulnerability management program and responds to vulnerability reports for applicability, taking remedial actions.Develop and maintain Plan of Action and Milestones (POA) for all assigned programs.Responsible for assisting in the development of information security documentation as well as security control implementation.Responsible for providing status reports to management on a regular basis on the status of assigned security programs and/or assigned role responsibilities.Act as a consultant on all aspects of system and data security.Ability to manage projects across technical and functional disciplines.Ability to manage and execute assigned projects, technical and functional disciplines and/or tasks within established timelines.Required Qualifications:Requires BA/BS (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years of experience in Information Security, IT Assurance, IT Governance, Risk Management and/or Cyber EngineeringKnowledge of developing, documenting and implementation of business process and/or proceduresRequires highly effective communication and interpersonal communication skills.Requires flexibility and willingness to work with a wide range of personalities on a variety of projects while prioritizing effectively.Requires strong analytic and problem-solving capabilities and the ability to identify solutions and recommendations that effectively address business and control needs along with how to train and guide others in this area.One or more of the following:Governance, risk, assurance, or security certifications: CISSP, CRMA, CGEIT, CRISC,CISM, CISA, CBCP, GIAC, CompTIA Security + or related governance certificationsUS Citizenship to obtain clearancePreferred Qualifications:Government related cyber securityNIST, OMB, and/or RMFPractical experience with FISMA / NIST / government security requirements.DoD Security Clearance of Secret and/or Top SecretGDIT CAREERS Opportunity OwnedWHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:401K with company matchCustomizable health benefits packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerChallenging work that makes a real impact on the world around youFull-flex work weekNot sure this job's the one for you?
