Job Description
Position Summary :
As a Pharmacy Technician - RX Entry, you will be
responsible for accurately and efficiently reading,
interpreting, and entering prescriptions into our
system. The Pharmacy Technician is essential to
ensuring patients receive their correct prescriptions in
a timely manner. The Pharmacy Technician position
is responsible for directing questionable prescriptions
to the prescriber for clarification, and enter
incomplete prescription information once clarification
has been obtained. To help support development and
maximize workflow, you may be asked to perform
other pharmacy functions as required. This is an
exciting chance for Pharmacy Technicians to excel in
a complex, team-oriented environment while having
the opportunity to develop and strengthen technical
skills and pharmacology knowledge.
As part of the Pharmacy Technician - RX Entry
Team, you will have an important, uniquely rewarding
role putting your Pharmacy Technician skills and
experiences to work in a closed door practice setting.

Permanent Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Rotating Saturday Shift with an Exchange Day off :
7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This is a temporary Work From Home position.
Possibilities to Work from Home available of
qualified.

Must live approximately 1 hour driving distance to the facility.

Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 months of pharmacy technician
experience entering prescriptions required

- Must have an active Texas Pharmacy Technician
registration or Trainee registration

- Previous mail order or retail pharmacy experience
highly preferred, but not required

- Ability to read and interpret prescription terminology
and medications

- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
preferred

Education
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
