The Adobe Marketing Data Analyst helps drive all aspects of data modeling, analysis, and interpretation for all go-to-market strategies and programs. By working closely with other members of the Reporting & Analytics team, the Analyst will develop, analyze and present meaningful data and insights to Marketing and other key stakeholders, making recommendations based on your analysis that will influence the marketing execution strategy. The person who assumes this role will work closely with Marketing Services, Business Unit Marketing, Sales Reporting, and Analytics, Sales Operations, and IT.


What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Deep dive into Adobe Analytics as well as Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, performing quantitative analysis, data mining, cleansing, and interpretation to translate business challenges into relevant and rigorous analytical initiatives

  • Creating, maintaining, and improving internal and Adobe Experience Cloud data sets, defining the right metrics, facilitating the sharing of this data with the corporate BI tool (Spotfire). These BI dashboards focus on the reporting, dashboarding, and visualizations of the performance and state of our Go-to-Market Plans and associated activities

  • Setup and maintain the Tag Management platform Adobe Launch to maximize what can be tracked and measured

  • Discover and adopt new techniques and tools to ensure the team stays at the forefront of Adobe solutions

  • What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 3+ years of experience working with Adobe Experience Cloud

  • Strong Adobe Analytics and Tag Management experience required

  • Experience with a Customer Data Platform (CDP) such as Adobe Experience Platform strongly desired

  • Proven experience building and managing marketing campaign attribution models; ability to iterate models based upon performance and other variables

  • Extensive knowledge and practical application of traffic/conversion variables and successful events to deliver on a measurement plan and KPIs

  • Ability to collect, decipher and implement requirements from Marketing stakeholders into reports and visualizations

  • Ability to work with business owners to help them articulate Key Business Questions and Key Performance Indicators

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve them quickly, and know when to collaborate with internal resources to assist

  • Strong presentation as well as verbal and written communication skills

  • Deep knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices

  • Develop and maintain Adobe Processing Rules and Classifications to map context data variables to standard analytics variables

  • What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • TIBCO Spotfire

  • Database querying using SQL (or similar query language), data mining and statistical packages such as R or Python, and hands-on use of BI/visualization tools; Tibco Spotfire strongly preferred but platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Qlik, and others acceptable.

  •  Strong working knowledge of databases and data warehousing techniques

  • Strongly preferred: experience working with marketing data sets found within a marketing tech stack: CRM, marketing automation, web analytics, and customer data platforms

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment; ability to identify and resolve business analysis challenges with limited assistance

  • Hunger and drive to continually develop and refine metric approaches, models, and dashboards that provide deep business insight and improve marketing capabilities and performance
