Responsibilities

The Manager, IS Security operations is responsible for the execution of the Norton Healthcare Information Security Program. This position develops policies used to govern information security, coordinate internal and external security audits, and managing the team responsible for the security operation systems for the organization. Works across the organization to ensure security practices are being followed and insure information assets are protected at all times. Manages the teams that handle incident response, threat hunting and defense, threat monitoring, and vendors / software tools that protect the data assets of NHC.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and define policies that govern the use and exchange of information internal and external to Norton Healthcare.
  • Create and manage metrics based on performance goals, industry best practices, and leadership direction to measure the overall effectiveness of the I.S. Security Program.
  • Conduct internal and manage external audits to assess the effectiveness of the I.S. Security program. Create remediation plans to address findings.
  • Manage the I.S. Security team to ensure success for the organization through the achievement of service goals. Monitor performance of team members providing feedback and mentoring. Actively manage team workload and project metrics. Ensure team has appropriate training to perform their duties.
  • Lead projects that improve the I.S. Security program to consistently deliver results for Norton Healthcare systems, processes, and information. Ensuring threat monitoring, threat detection, and incident response activities and plans are in place and executable.
Qualifications

Required:
  • With a Bachelor's Degree, Five years IT Risk/Security or leading Technical teams
  • Without a Bachelor's Degree, Nine years IT Risk/Security or leading technical teams.
Desired:
  • Master Degree
  • One of: CISA or CISM or CISSP or CRISC
