What you will accomplish together with us

  • Identify untapped opportunities for Sartorius Bioprocess Solutions products/services and initiate contact with prospective customers
  • Identify key decision-makers and develop inroads at prospective accounts to facilitate further discussions leading to new sales opportunities
  • Conduct customer specific virtual meetings to identify key areas of interest and uncover potential opportunities
  • Gain an understanding of decision makers' buying influences and motivations, and leverage this information to secure commitments for further meetings
  • Uncover customer needs and promote awareness of Sartorius’ products
  • Research and gain an understanding of the competitive landscape to optimize our ability to establish relationships and acquire new customers
  • Work closely with Marketing partners and internal stakeholders to utilize resources to support value offerings as well as generate early stage leads
  • Contribute to the development of innovative strategies to grow the business within the region
  • Collect and qualify leads utilizing CRM to store relevant account information
  • Conduct and coordinate account transition meetings with Account Managers for high value leads
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • What will convince us

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in biological engineering or Life Science/Biotechnology discipline
  • 1+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience encompass some of the following aspects: Sales, R&D, Product Development, or Scale-up/GMP is preferred
  • A consultative communication style and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within an organization
  • Experience with sales processes, and using customer dashboards is desirable
  • Experience with contact mining platforms such as LinkedIn is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
