It is a great time to join their team.Our client is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join their small but mighty team of thirty and counting. They are based in Brooklyn, and welcome remote candidates who are able to work EST hours. What you will be doing

  • Manually testing the company application and identifying bugs and blockers
  • Writing and maintaining test cases based on product specifications
  • Writing and maintaining simple automated tests for their most unchanging and commonly used application workflows
  • Working with engineers, designers, and product team members to launch bug free features
  • Defining what quality means to them and their customers as well as developing processes to ensure they consistently deliver features that meet those high standards
  • Helping the team with administrative tasks such as research, note taking, and task tracking.
  • Collaborating cross functionally to assist other departments where possible
  • What makes a great candidate
  • 4 plus years of experience in Quality Assurance
  • 4 plus years of experience in a corporate or startup environment
  • Expertise in QA test tracking software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A roll up your sleeves mentality and comfort with ambiguity
  • Passion for what they are building
  • An impeccable sense of humour
  • Valued but not required
  • Experience in coding complex automated testing
  • Experience in a fast paced startup
  • Experience leading or managing a team
