Role Mission: The mission for the Remote Student Information Systems (SIS) coordinator is to manage student intake, communications, and daily attendance, maintain 100% data accuracy and 100% compliance with IDEA's remote conferencing attendance procedures. The Remote SIS coordinator organizes all of the campus operation tasks with key stakeholders and executes campus operation processes that bind to our student information system (PowerSchool). The Remote Conferencing SIS Coordinator will also provide clerical support to the principal(s), so that the principal can maximize his/her time due to reliable, efficient administrative support. By prioritized scheduling, streamlined communication, and thorough logistical preparation, the SIS Coordinator enables the principal(s) to maximize their impact in helping make college for all children a reality.

What You'll Do :

  • Own student intake process for remote conferencing students
  • Owns the attendance process for remote conferencing students
  • Works with students, staff , and parents to ensure students attend remote conferencing school every day for the duration of their allotted time
  • Communicates attendance reporting to staff, including: Chronic absenteeism, Progress Towards Goal by Day, Absence calculator
  • Documents all attendance changes and corrects attendance data within 24 hours
  • Ensure teacher attendance submission is in line with official attendance taking time
  • Ensures all attendance report submissions are submitted on time
  • Grade verification, if necessary
  • Support bi-lateral communications processes between remote conferencing school and home campus
  • Own process for student return to home campus with updated information related to attendance and overall student progress.
  • Schedule events and plan logistics for meetings
  • Other duties as they arise

What We Offer

Compensation:
  • Compensation for this role is set at an hourly rate ranging between $16.00 and $20.00 commensurate with experience.
