What?

You will be building a world class, global Sales Development organisation and will be responsible for overseeing our rapidly scaling global team, planning strategies to enter new markets, and owning SDR experiments. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for overseeing the SDR team and front line managers, coaching and training them to rapidly build pipelines for the sales organisation.

We've cut our teeth in hyper growth startups, the military, and academia. The sales team you will be joining is led by leaders who have been founding sales people at unicorns and startups acquired for 9+ figures.

Your role

The key thing here is that we are an early stage, rapidly growing start up where the SDR function is being built ground up and you will have ownership of the team as it scales. You won't just come in and plug into a well oiled sales machine - you will be helping to build it. In addition you'll do all the usual stuff a Head of SDR in a SaaS style start up does. Which, to be clear looks like this:

  • Own the global SDR organisation, its pipeline contribution and success -- including recruiting and retaining exceptional talent, strategy planning, execution, and outcomes
  • Build an environment of coaching and mentorship that helps SDRs hit target and advance in their careers
  • Work with senior leadership to build on our existing lead generation and pipeline development strategies to improve efficiency across the sales organization. At the same time, you will be running data-driven experiments to uncover new insights and strategies
  • Work closely with every other department to input into product, customer onboarding, using feedback from the market to drive improvements and provide insights
You've done some of these things...
  • At least 3 years of SaaS experience and an additional 2 years of SDR management experience in a high velocity, competitive environment with a track record of success - including hit target and building teams while maintaining a high eNPS
  • Ran data-driven experimentation and have an outstanding track record of leveraging sales tools to drive outsized outcomes
  • Believe in the power of coaching, mentoring, and leadership as a competitive advantage to sales organisations
  • Bonus points if you have worked selling to HR/Operations/Finance teams at Technology Companies or have been a founder/eary hire of a startup
