Here, you will make an impact by:Working across our global customer-facing organization (application engineering, sales, marketing, key account management) to facilitate and accelerate global launches of new products and new applications in the field of bioprocessing of recombinant proteins, vaccines, gene and cell therapy, and blood plasma-derived biologics. Championing and maintaining industry visibility of 3M technologies, products, and culture of innovation in front of the biopharmaceutical industry through written publications, conference presentations, and high-impact collaborations with customers and academic KOLs worldwide.Representing an outside-in view of biopharmaceutical processing industry trends and voice of the customer within our development community, including application development, product development, and marketing teams.Acting as a global expert on current and emerging strategies and best practices on bioprocessing and biopharma industry trends, opportunities, and requirements.Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor of science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionThree years of experience in new bioprocessing technology evaluation and deployment in clinical and commercial biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes (biopharma PD, MS&T, or supplier side) in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Demonstrated record of technical collaborations across internal and external organizations, professional technical conference presentations and peer-reviewed publicationsMaster’s in chemical engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related discipline from an accredited institution3 years of industrial bioprocess development experience at pre-clinical and clinicalWorking knowledge of vaccine, blood plasma, gene and cell therapy bioprocessing spaceGlobal customer facing experience in the bioprocess technology or biopharma manufacturing marketStrong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global cross-functional teamsTravel: May include up to 75% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorized
