Explore what ASIC North has to offer!Open position: Location is flexible/open to remote work due to the current Covid-19 pandemic.RESPONSIBILITIES: Design high performance RF and analog circuits per specified requirements and direct layout technicians to implement circuits using industry standard Electronic Design Automation (EDA) toolsThe ideal candidate will have very strong RF design skills and experience in a variety of areas (LNA's, mixers, VGA's, digital step attenuators, switches, match networks, baluns and synthesizers) using SiGe BiCMOS and CMOS (SOI) technologiesREQUIREMENTS:Education: BS or MS (Preferred) in Electrical Engineering15+ years of experienceVery strong RF Analog circuit design skillsExperience above 15 GHz preferredExtensive experience with Cadence EDA (Composer/Virtuoso) toolsExtensive experience with SpectreRF, Spectre, HSPICEExperience with CALIBRE LVS/DRC preferredExperience with field solver software such as ANSYS, Keysight ADS, Helic, etc.Experience with RF laminate design preferredStrong oral/written communication skills; a positive, open-minded attitude; as well as an ability to work in a team environment or independently as requiredThis job position will or is likely to involve compliance with ITAR regulations so all employees working in this capacity must be eligible under ITAR requirements; accordingly, applicants must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent ResidentsasicNorth is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
