Transportation Optimization Analyst Remote

This position is responsible for identifying Supply Chain cost control initiatives through development and maintenance of data management tools, ERP systems mining, and ad hoc analysis. This role will work with all areas within the Bed Bath & Beyond organization to accomplish these objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to identify and facilitate the consolidation of multiple less-than-load shipments to full Truckload loads for freight savings purpose.
• Responsible for identifying best pooling strategy and effectively working with LTL/TL (less than truckload / full truckload) carriers to implement & executing pooling strategies.
• Responsible to identify transport and network savings opportunities based on current and future constraints
• Responsible for utilizing the Mojo Optimization tool in Mercury Gate TMS to identify opportunities.
• Responsible for managing Load tender process of Intermodal. OTR-TL and LTL loads.

Qualifications:

• Experience with MS Access and MS Excel to gather data for reporting
• Knowledge of and experience with web-based Transportation Management System (TMS)
