Edge Retail Technical Marketing Evangelist- Remote US Join us as a Retail Technical Marketing Evangelist on our Edge Solutions team in Remote US. Edge computing is emerging as the new massively distributed frontier that blends the physical and virtual works, most of the data will be produce at the edge in the next upcoming years. You will get to work with an experienced team of brilliant people in a dynamic environment to grow a new business from the ground up. What you’ll achieve Viewed as a Retail subject matter expert for developing and communicating technical marketing materials across LOBs and Products/Solutions Partners with senior leadership in developing technical marketing strategies and objectives. Regularly mentors, coaches and assists less experienced team members. Supports all LOBs/Products/Solutions. Drives technical messaging and sales enablement for Dell Edge solutions in the Retail space. Can translate technical capabilities into business outcomes statements using Retail specific language. Uses deep understanding of Retail Edge operations to showcase Dell’s value add for this segment. Works to gather sales and customer inputs to understand solution and technical needs to develop impactful messaging and sales enablement tools. Acts as a Retail Edge subject matter expert to identify key technical concepts to communicate and determines the best way to package the technical information for both business owners and technical-savvy internal/external audience. Develops compelling technical arguments for customers to consider engaging Dell in addressing their Business/IT needs. Conducts competitive analysis and research to determine appropriate positioning of technical features and capabilities Applies deep technical expertise and extensive industry experience to formulate and develops technical content, proof concepts, third- party analyst benchmarks and whitepapers that span full product portfolio. Recognizes and understands customer needs and tailors technical content to meet those requirements What you will do: Be the subject matter expert on aspect of the edge stack for Retail. Create compelling presentations and sales materials Evangelize Dell’s Retail Edge Solutions to customers, partners, sales, and internal audiences to both business and technical stake holders Document technical concepts to ensure our solutions are well understood and utilized to the greatest extent possible. Work closely with Product Managers and provide product feedback for future development. Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical impediments to transactions. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements: 5+ years of work experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer or Solutions Architect and 12+ years professional experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills characterized by clarity and brevity. Desirable Requirements: Experience with software development is a major plus.
